Chapter 119 - 120: Golden Pot
Adena unexpectedly had void energy. Yes, Cail could feel it, and it seemed to be related to her senses. She noticed that there was something a bit off about him, but her senses didn’t show anything.
He had no idea how her ability worked, but her health issue had something to do with her being a void user. When people awakened as void users, their bodies would strengthen, just like what happened to him.
But for her, her body didn’t follow the normal rules. She had a lot of void energy in her body, but she couldn’t handle it. Her body was too brittle to carry that kind of power; that’s why she was sickly.
Cail also managed to sense a very chaotic void energy inside her. It was very similar to what he had found in Veyr. He had no idea what it was, but he was curious.
After rinsing his mouth, he stepped out of the bathroom and walked to Saeb’s room.
When he opened the door, he wasn’t sure what he was expecting, but inside were numerous air-conditioning units. Cail also froze the moment he stepped in.
"What is that guy doing...?" Is the fire inside him messing with his body? That could be the only explanation for this ungodly amount of air-conditioners.
There was a knock on the door. Cail paused and opened it. Outside was the butler—the only person besides Chairman Eldreth who knew he wasn’t the real Saeb.
"Young master, your friend is looking for you," the butler said before bowing.
