When Did I Become An Artifact Dealer?!

Chapter 65: Saving Grace

Cail felt like he was lying on top of the softest mattress. The cold snowflakes landed on his cheek. His eyes slackened a bit. The sudden feeling of cold made his wounds feel a bit of relief.

How I wish I could just lie down here.

But the crisis wouldn’t wait for him to relax. He got back to work almost immediately after realizing that there was more strong void energy coming.

He sat up. His heart skipped a beat when he saw a doll staring at him, then he realized that it was the white woman who had saved him.

Sellene obviously noticed his startled look. She snorted in dissatisfaction. "Heh, you just noticed me here? Did you think that my snow would rush here by itself without me?"

Cail suddenly pulled off his helmet and threw it at Sellene. She was clearly caught off guard by the sudden attack, but she quickly caught the black helmet.

"What was that—" Her voice caught in her throat when she saw Cail wearing a new, unblemished helmet. She threw the broken helmet on the ground and looked at him. "You really are very secretive about your face."

Of course I am, Cail thought. Safety aside, it would be hell once someone discovered he looked like that bastard (Virehn).

Cail stood up. His entire body almost crumbled the moment he exerted force on it. Sellene caught him just in time.

"I didn’t notice you, alright? Your presence is not that noticeable," Cail said, deflecting the topic about his face. He once again tried to stand up.

Sellene wanted to punch him, but she remembered that she owed this guy. "Stop forcing yourself. We can hide here."
