When Did I Become An Artifact Dealer?!

Chapter 39: Sirae

"I didn't know you could look deader than before," Iven said, feeling speechless.

Cail was slumped down into the sofa and was lying like a baby. He looked like he had just got punched with the black circle in his eye, his lips were as pale as a sheet.

Iven couldn't help but ask, "You aren't anaemic, right?"

I probably am, Cail thought as he remembered that he lost liters of blood. He shook his head. "I'm fine."

Then he looked around. "Where's Jael again?"

Iven tossed a square pillow at him. "You scum really aren't listening." Then he pointed at the stairs beside the big vase with decorative flowers in it. "I told you, he's upstairs, sleeping. He looked very out of it, but he is sleeping."

Cail hugged the pillow that Iven tossed. He thought of that possessed guy. Actually, it wasn't that he had never thought of letting Jael stay at his house, but the cat thing is actually real. He thought that the probability of Jael dying first because of an allergy is big if he stayed at Cail's.

Besides, he thought, That guy had multiple void energies within him.

Because of the void energy that he left on Jael, although he couldn't sense anything from more than a mile away, now up close, he could sense the lingering void energy that his energy managed to capture while inside Jael's body.
