Chapter 14: Where’s The Box?!
The twig man, as Cail described, growled, he looked at Cail with pure malice. He was puzzled about the situation, "Who are you? Why are you meddling with my business?!"
Cail wondered, "Do you think I'm that stupid to tell you who I am?" This looked like a textbook villain dialogue.
"You're ignorant interrupting a mission from Hollow Accord means death! You're next on the bounty!" The man said, looking very intimidating.
Cail didn't care much. "I already did what I did. Too late for regret." Although the man looked very imposing, based on what Cail was seeing, something inside the man shattered and all that was left inside of him was a very unstable void energy.
He twisted the accelerator and drove straight to the man.
The man looked at him in panic. He screamed, "They will be alerted once I die!" He tried to dodge but his body was weakened by the parasite. He was hit head-on by the motorcycle.
Looking at the body sprawled on the ground, Cail did a U-turn. He ran over the guy again, but this time, instead of being flung away by the motorcycle, the man was cut in half. Contents of his stomach spilled out.
"Ahhhhhhhhh!" The man screamed in agony. Cail was a bit shocked at the man's vitality. Being torn like that looked like instant death to him.
"You have no idea about the gravity of the situation!"
Cail did have an idea now. But still, it's all too late.
"Letting you live is not an option either," he murmured.
