Chapter 103: Lysandra
Spacetime.
It was one of the theorized Six Paths of the Mind that Kaizer developed, and was something he personally was looking forward to unlocking because of its sheer power and utility. Look at the Dean, and look at Sophia, able to be virtually immune from danger as they could enter the void and even come and go as they pleased.
The Dean even developed a plan for the six paths of the mind, emphasizing that Kaizer should focus on unlocking elemental control and mastering the fire, water, and wind elements before moving on to Channeling.
Spacetime was the last thing on his plate, and the Dean even developed a detailed plan involving personal training to help Kaizer master it, involving himself and Sophia, which was why he even connected his daughter with Kaizer.
Who could have thought that before the relatively simple elemental control and the slightly harder channeling, the first thing out of the remaining three paths of the mind that Kaizer had yet to access would be spacetime?
Time seemed to slow down greatly in the area around the crash, causing everything to move in slow motion. The train was falling slowly, so too were the people, the expression of fear still on their faces.
In this world of slowed time, Kaizer alone was able to move, and he did not have any delusions of grandeur in terms of resolving the situation with his own power. He had bought himself the time he needed, so he opened the box he brought with him and swallowed one of the healing pills before taking out the black talisman and activating it as the Dean taught him.
Immediately, the Dean walked out of mid-air with his cane in hand, his body tense and alert. When he sensed the surroundings, his pupils constricted as he glanced at his pupil who was rapidly losing consciousness due to the force exerted and sighed.
Immediately, Sophia walked out of the void beside the Dean, her expression slightly serious.
"Father, you’re here." She greeted with palpable relief.
Dean Rochester smiled at his daughter and nodded. "Yes, Sophia dear, I have come. Help me resolve this situation, please."
