Chapter 47: Hector and Lisa
Hector stretched out a hand to shake theirs, which Kaizer took firmly. He took his time to finally analyze the guy and realized that he was quite a nice-looking fellow.
Hector had spiky yellow hair that was definitely dyed and a slightly fair skin tone that showed he was somewhat pampered. He had typical brown eyes as well as a neatly styled goatee that was also dyed blonde.
He wore a casual pink Hawaiian shirt over a white t-shirt underneath, his neck lined with a wooden rosary. His hands were placed in the pockets of his loose white shorts and his feet dragged along the ground in purple-colored sandals.
Kaizer released his name and introduced himself. "Kaizer Lunin, and this is my cousin, Rina Lunin."
Hector enthusiastically extended a hand to Rina afterward, but the young lady just glanced at it and then looked away, clearly not interested. Hector could only laugh awkwardly and continue to lead them into the academy grounds.
"So, are you guys second-generation espers or first-generation? Looking at the fact that you came unaccompanied, you’re probably first-generation, right?" Hector asked casually.
"Does it matter?" Rina asked with a frown.
Hector was annoyed by her tone, but a casual glance in her direction and seeing that tightly stretched blouse made his anger bleed away like a burst dam.
"Well, not really. In this school, your background doesn’t really matter unless you come from a family of powerful espers, but what’s more important is your own power and potential. As for being first-generation or second-generation, it’s only relevant for social cliques and all that."
