Kaizer got down from the car, which was opened by the second bodyguard, Franco. Franco was typically tall, buff, and had a neat military buzz cut that made him look menacing and official. He wore a black urban combat uniform without the vest and had a pistol strapped to his thigh, as he had a license to open carry.

The other bodyguard was called Raul, who had darker skin than his compatriot and a small mustache on his face along with his buzz cut, but he was generally more approachable. He was also well-built, wearing the same outfit and possessing the same loadout.

Seeing them, the campus security guards felt trepidation in their hearts and didn't dare to stop them. After all, they saw who these tough men were escorting — the famous number one young master of their school, Kaizer Lunin!

Kaizer did not have a reputation for bullying, womanizing, or anything really harmful, but people assumed he was peerlessly arrogant due to his cold and aloof nature, given that he didn't even get along with his own cousin who wasn't from the 'main line.'

What was just a bit of childish willfulness from Rina had been grossly misconstrued into some sort of palace drama, with factions in the Lunin family fighting for control over the wealth. What was funny was that Keith had been greatly assisted by their family on both sides, who invested all their money into him when he had nothing, so now the old man took care of them greatly.

Kaizer himself had been largely unaware of this because he was closed off, but with telepathy now active and his curiosity stoked, he could naturally hear the thoughts from those around him, which made his face darken slightly. It seemed he would have to talk with Rina about her tantrums in public, as they were creating a headache for them in the long run.

Never underestimate the power of a rumor. Even if you doubted yourself, you never know what your future holds. Your hard work may pay off one day, and you may be well on your way to great success and achieving your dreams, but some random hater might bring up an unfounded rumor from the past that could block you forever from the gates of your paradise.

Many people in the world learned this lesson the hard way, especially with the advent of the internet, so never allow yourself to become one of these tragic examples.

Class began, and Kaizer started to lose focus as he practiced his telepathic powers again. When outside his home, he did not dare practice or use telekinesis lightly in case he was being monitored outside of his 100-meter range, not to mention that cameras and technology did not have brains.
