Reincarnated Into A World Of Elves As The Only Man

Chapter 127: Mother and Daughter United

Water erupted from the ground beneath Seven’s feet as Lyra tapped into underground streams she had sensed during their battle. The decay master stumbled as the earth turned to mud, her perfect balance finally compromised. But before she could recover, Elysia struck from above.

The queen of Moonlight had used the distraction to position herself directly overhead, compressed air forming solid platforms that allowed her to approach unseen. Her descent was swift and silent, wind-formed spears aimed directly at Seven’s heart.

Seven sensed the attack at the last moment, throwing herself sideways as the air weapons punched deep holes in the ground where she had been standing. But the evasion left her vulnerable to Lyra’s follow-up assault.

Mother and daughter moved with perfect synchronization, their powers complementing each other in ways that seemed almost supernatural. Elysia’s wind currents guided Lyra’s water attacks with pinpoint accuracy, while Lyra’s moisture control enhanced the cutting power of her mother’s air blades.

"Impossible," Seven breathed, finding herself truly pressed for the first time. Every direction she turned presented new threats, forcing her into an increasingly desperate defensive stance.

Elysia’s voice carried across the battlefield with cold authority. "You made a mistake when you threatened my family."

A pressurized water blast from Lyra forced Seven to leap backward, directly into the path of Elysia’s wind funnel. The competing forces caught the decay master between them, air and water crushing her from opposite directions with tremendous force.

Seven’s scream echoed off the ruined walls as her ribs cracked audibly. Black blood sprayed from her mouth, but she managed to press both palms against the ground, sending decay racing outward in all directions.

The water around her began to steam and evaporate where it touched the corruption, but Lyra simply drew more moisture from the air to replace what was lost. Her power seemed limitless, fed by fury and desperation in equal measure.
