"He’s been very kind to me," Primrose said with a warm smile. "He even built this entire greenhouse just for me, and filled it with flowers from my homeland. He wanted me to feel like I never left home."
Arabella’s frown deepened so much that Primrose could clearly see the wrinkle between her brows. [His Majesty built this entire place ... just for her? A whole greenhouse? For a human?]

"I didn’t know His Majesty could be that romantic!" Mirelle clapped her hands and leaned in closer, as if she wanted to hear more juicy details about the queen’s love life.
"I’ve heard you’ve spent many nights with His Majesty. Tell me, were you still able to walk the next day?"
Primrose nearly choked on her tea. Her smile faded, and her eyes widened as she stared at Mirelle in disbelief.
Did she really just ask that out loud?
