His words sent a ripple of shock through the room. The team exchanged startled glances, their disbelief evident.
Tayo was the first to react. She stepped forward, her tone incredulous. "Lord Adam, what are you saying? Do you really think he’s listening to us at this moment?"
Adam nodded slowly, his gaze steady. "Yes, Tayo. It’s highly likely he’s watching and hearing everything we do."
The gravity of Adam’s assertion settled over the room like a heavy cloud. Zero, who had been standing silently near the corner, straightened up.
His mechanical limbs hummed softly as he stepped closer. "Lord Adam," he said, his voice measured, "if this is true, then you and your family are in grave danger."
Adam let out a weary sigh, nodding in agreement. "You’re right, Zero. But it’s not just my family. Each of you is in as much danger as they are."
