Chapter 82: A New Dawn
The long corridor was shrouded in silence, broken only by the faint hum of electricity in the air.
Adam stood firm, cloaked in his signature attire, the edges of his mask casting sharp shadows against his chiseled face. Beside him,
Tayo hovered gracefully, her translucent wings shimmering faintly with a golden hue.
The tension in the air was palpable as a vampire, its eyes glowing an ominous red, charged toward Adam with feral intensity.
"Matter State!" Tayo’s voice rang out, clear and commanding.
In an instant, her body became a shimmering, translucent form, almost ghost-like.
Without hesitation, she darted straight through the vampire, her ethereal figure passing through its snarling, clawed body.
The creature froze mid-lunge, confusion flashing in its predatory eyes. Then, as Tayo reemerged behind it, a horrifying transformation began.
The vampire’s skin sizzled and crackled as though set alight from within.
Dark, gnarled patches peeled away, exposing raw, blistering flesh underneath.
The beast let out a guttural scream, collapsing onto the cold, dusty floor. Clutching its head in agony, it writhed, clawing at its face as the disintegration spread.
