Ash spent the day preparing for their attack. He was going to tear them to shreds. Drink them dry. Devour their loved ones.

They wanted war, they were going to get it. Ash had armed himself with bullets of wolfbane, his claws were dripping in wolfbane, and he drank it. He would be a violent blood savage made to personally poison each wolf.

When Ash first asked about drinking wolfsbane Jeremy thought it was weird, but after giving it a second thought, he decided that was actually a damn good idea. Jeremy distributed it to the others that joined their ranks, who gladly drank the disgusting drink.

Everyone was revved up and ready for war. They’d destroy them, they should have never touched their princess. Vampires are notoriously territorial just like shifters. And like shifters they’ll go to war over their people.

With all the Vampires gathered, armed and poisoned, and the moon reaching it’s perfect point they all headed for the wolves, on foot, careful not to draw any attention to themselves. They’d set their attack down wind, so their scent would take longer to be noticed by the outside guards on patrol. The ones who could teleport a few feet or fly short distance were expected to strike first. Once they start the assault, they would flood the packs grounds under the cover of shadows. After taking out the outer ring of homes and guards they’d take the inner circle, before finally reaching the palace. The plan was pretty solid.

Driving to a store at the halfway point they all parked. Wave after wave of vampires began the run. They lined up in rows, running 1 minute apart each from line to line.

Encroaching on enemy turf the first line of offensive picked up their place and positioned themselves. The second line and on hung back by the tree line waiting for their signal. Once everyone was in position, Ash, would was leading the charge, and sent the first wave of vampires descending on the wolves.

Silently they land on top of the guards, catching them by surprise, in almost perfect unison, the vampires ripped the throats from the wolves. Not so much as a whimper escaped them before they were lifeless carcasses lying on the ground.

Glowing red eyes came from the tree line. Breaking through their pack’s gates, they climb to the roofs and hop from one to another decreasing the distance between them and the palace.

With each new wave of vampires, the one before would drop to the streets. Soon screams began erupting from different parts of the city alerting nearby guards.
