Chapter 93: Ursula’s trapped
Ursula knew something wasn’t right when Atlas was being so kind and leaving that letter. He tricked her and set a trap for her.
What a piece of garbage, dragging her into whatever scheme they have. She can’t believe Atlas roped in Esme. She was a child. When she was asked to bring his sister along, she thought it was odd. But the party was all ages, many people brought their kids.
She was petrified what they all would think of her after this. Would they believe that she had nothing to do with it? Or when they find and rescue Violet, would she be punished alongside the pack? Was Violet, okay? Where was she taken? Why was this happening? Questions were swirling around in her head. Rephrasing and repeating themselves but still asking the same things.
She needed to contact the queen. She searched for her phone in her bag but couldn’t find it. She knew Atlas must have taken it, so she couldn’t contact her friends. She was locked in, with no phone. The Gala was tonight, and she’d have to be present. At least then, she’d be able to talk to the queen.
Ursula paced the room, her wolf, Aarica was restless.
This isn’t right, Ursula. We need to find a way to escape, we can’t just stay holed up in here like a dog. We need a plan.
Yeah, well do you have one Aarica, cause I don’t? I don’t have a servant door. I don’t have a key. I’m a prisoner in my own home.
What about the window?
Ursula looked to the window and walked over. Examining the distance from the third floor to the ground.
She might be able to make it. A running start would be more ideal for a better landing, but if she were to tuck and roll after, it could help brace her arms and legs from the shock resistance of the landing, so she doesn’t injure herself.
Either way her Aarica was right, because one way or another she needed to get herself out. She needed to find Violet.
