Chapter 88: the wolves took her
Violet awoke afraid in a dark and cold cellar like room. Alone. When she tried to move, she realized she was strapped to a table. Panic flooded her senses. She wanted to scream for help but was scared of what would come if it wasn’t help. Violet trembled on the table, she tried to access her situation, look for escape routes, weak points in anything to try and escape.
But before she could do start thinking of a plan, the door opened and two people walked in. She squinted her hides and turned away for a moment while her eyes adjusted. But the light from behind the door was so bright she could only make out their silhouettes as they approached.
Violet’s heart pounded in her chest, her breathing erratic as she waited for kidnappers to reveal themselves.
"Well, well, seems our gentle maiden has awoken." A familiar voice hissed, she couldn’t quite pinpoint where she heard it, but she knew it.
The door slammed shut behind the two figures and then the room was lit in an instant, someone had turned on the lights, and the dark cellar was revealed to be a room with dark grey walls. There were shackles hanging from the walls. On counters to her right rested different tools of all kinds from scissors to clamps.
She shuddered as she looked around.
A sinister laugh erupted from that familiar voice, Violet jerked her head in the direction of the voice and her she gasped.
Amos. Of the CrystalBay pack, the Alpha’s heir. The grin that stretched across his face was sadistic and obsessive.
"Your fear is intoxicating; I can taste it’s sweetness in the air." Amos chuckled at her despair "You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this moment, princess."
"Let me go, Amos. I’m scared." Violet begged him.
"You are more stupid than I thought if you think anything you say will mean anything and let you go. How naïve. How did you survive this long in a den of bloodthirsty vampires?" Amos mocked her.
