Chapter 64: the fair
Friends?
Ash was leaning back in his seat arms crossed watching them with deep intensity. He was making sure Viktoria acted right and Violet felt safe.
Viktoria was at a loss for words. She was stunned someone would want friendship after what they had done. Viktoria was horrible to Violet; she kidnapped her, helped drug her and fucked her and watched her get assaulted by Riley. Why would anyone be so forgiving? So unconditionally tally forgiving? Was it a trick? Viktoria truly didn’t know what to think her jaw slacking some, her eyes were opened wide in disbelief.
"Are you serious?" Viktoria asked suspiciously.
"Yes, I’m serious. Why wouldn’t I be?" Violet asked her nose crinkled some frowning slightly.
"Cause I was really awful to you. Aren’t you going to retaliate?" Viktoria asked.
Violet’s faced relaxed and she chuckled, "You’re funny, no, I’m not retaliating, I am truly hoping we ca be friends." Violet tilted her head to the side, she reached up and gently clasped Viktoria’s hands in hers. Violet’s smile was ever so sweet.
Viktoria’s heart seemed to stop beating as she gazed upon Violet’s innocent, seeing her in a new light. Violet was to be her queen. And she looked like royalty as she sat up straight her shoulders back, she was indeed a princess looking at her sitting in her seat.
"So, you’re not mad?" Viktoria really couldn’t understand this girl. What the hell was her deal?
"No, not mad, but I am hurt, and I do feel quite a bit of sadness, but no not anger." Violet tapped Viktoria’s hands gently "I really mean it when I ask you to be my friend."
Viktoria started to smile. Just a hint of one in the corner. Starting to believe Violet’s words.
