Chapter 152: That Beautiful Place
The smirk on Lethia’s lips faded as her mouth parted slightly, sucking in a sharp breath. Her voice caught in her throat, disbelief written all over her face. "K–kill...?"
Knock knock!
"Miss Lethia, is everything alright in there?" A gentle woman’s voice came from the other side of the restroom door, making Lethia snap her head toward the sound.
When she turned back to the mirror, Whisney was gone. She just saw herself in the reflection.
["I think we need to focus more on how you can be free from here. We can continue that talk later. Now, don’t waste time!"]
Lethia’s brows knitted, irritated by the interruption, however the damned fox was right.

"No. I’m good. Just give me a minute!" Lethia half-shouted in response to the woman outside.
She straightened her posture, fixed her appearance, and then opened the door.
A middle-aged woman in a maid’s uniform stood there with a soft, polite smile and a slight bow of her head.
"I’m your private maid, Miss. You can ask me anything, and I’ll help in any way I can. My name is Randa."
"Ah, really? Then can you just leave me alone?" Lethia asked bluntly, her tone bordering on a command. She knew damn well this maid was just another one of Varrel’s eyes.
