Davis and Jessica left the house together. In the parking lot, Jessica helped him into the car, ensuring he was properly settled before sliding into the seat beside him. A sleek black luxury SUV pulled up to the circular driveway, its engine humming before coming to a smooth halt. The driver swiftly stepped out and opened the door.
