Chapter 1047: Section 603: Journey to Central South (4)_3
Ails walked over, picked up the jar, and glanced inside... Malin felt that this Lich seemed to have a brief moment of existential contemplation. Out of curiosity, Malin moved in front of Ails, who was holding the jar, jumped up to take a peek inside, and—oh my—this tea concoction was as rich as a potion loaded with five pounds of sugar and arsenic.
"Speaking of which, Mr. Lich, I’m really curious—how are you planning to drink this?" Pastor Zhang asked. Clearly, he hadn’t seen what was inside the jar; otherwise, he wouldn’t have had the face to ask such a question.
Ails, as straightforward as ever, handed the jar to Malin to hold, and then, under the watchful eyes of the crowd, performed a dazzling transformation into a living person.
He then pulled a robe out of his private space and draped it over himself. Malin, meanwhile, picked up the spoon conjured from Mana and handed it to Ails.
Ails used the World Tree spoon to scoop up a chunk of... tea paste and shove it into his mouth. Malin watched as pure white mist spewed out from every one of Ails’ facial orifices in an instant.
...It seemed to be more than just seven orifices... Ah well, some things are better left unexplored. At least he didn’t burst into spontaneous combustion—that would’ve been a real mess, and even if Malin jumped into the Milky Way, he wouldn’t be able to explain it.
After snorting loudly, Ails turned to face the citizens on the city wall with a beaming smile: "What a kick! How many Chaos brains does it take to trade for a jar like this?!"
