District Six, Peace Avenue, No. 899.

The aged woman sat with her eyes open, looking towards the front door from the living room of her own home: "Peace, do we have visitors?"

This is an inland district far from the harbor area, although it’s a high-status location with guaranteed safety, it’s still quite rare to have visitors at night.

Thus, she voiced her doubt. Quickly, a young mechanical being with human-like skin walked over, except for its mechanical eyes—mechanical beings can’t fully resemble humans.

This child who looked like a grandson but, in fact, performed the duties of a butler, stood in front of the door and scanned the creatures outside the door, then turned his head to his master: "There are two very strange organic beings outside, ma’am."

"Strange, huh? It’s alright, with you here, Peace, open the door." The elderly woman smiled with a nod and at the same time, picked up the double-barreled shotgun beside the couch—it was her dearly beloved husband’s favorite piece when he was alive, who always liked to use it to scare her, the old hag.

Now that he was gone, this old hag could only go to the gun store to buy bullets and then load them into the chamber.

Before that time, her husband had bought it for exactly thirty years, yet its barrels were still brand new to that day.

She sat there as her Peace opened the door for her.
