These guys are tough-mouthed; even using detection arrays, none of them appeared to be Chaotic purple. Malin believed that none among them would stoop as low as to collude with Chaos, but it was possible that someone working against Malin could well be Chaotic.
So Malin had to make them disclose the list.
Now the problem was, the Church couldn’t use extreme torture against a human who wasn’t a Chaotic Believer. Unlike the Chaotic Infiltrator they electrocuted, they’re considered human after all.
