Skritch sneered, his stance shifting.
"Yeah. That bravado from earlier's gone quiet. You done pretending?"
Zain tilted his head and gave a slow, confident grin.
"Scared? No. I just figured it's the perfect time to get serious. Besides..."
He cracked his knuckles.
"I haven't had dinner yet."
