Chapter 148: This game is fucking unfair
Damon’s lips twisted into a smirk. "Well, look at you," he drawled, his crimson eyes flashing.
The kid’s grin widened, eyes glowing with that eerie purple light. "Your trash talk won’t save you," he sneered. "Surrender now, and maybe I’ll let your corpse keep its head."
Damon barked out a laugh. "Surrender?" he repeated, rolling his shoulders as if he were just warming up. "Sorry, kid, but that’s not really my style."
The skeletal warriors tightened their formation, rattling their rusty blades as they closed in. Damon’s grin widened as he saw their slow, mechanical movements. "Do you really plan to attack me with these dummies? Really?"
Before the kid could react, Damon’s hands moved. His daggers struck the five skeletons, and in the blink of an eye, each of them exploded outwards into bone fragments. The explosion even managed to damage Necro God, making the little guy extremely impatient.
He started casting another skill, and Damon shook his head. "No, sorry kid. I just don’t have the time today." He looked at the little boy and let out a sigh once again. What a disappointment! He then dashed forward, directly overwhelming the guy in close combat.
Against Damon’s vast combat experience, the kid could barely let out a breath and was done for before he could realize what happened. Once his formation and forcefield were broken, his strength completely crumbled, and he was simply unprepared for further attacks.
Damon smoothly absorbed his blood essence, letting the little kid fall to his death. Next came the part Damon was most excited about. For a kid like him to have risen to the top of the world, he definitely needed some serious juice, which meant some sort of special class or hidden class.
"Come on. Come on. Give it to me. Give me a good one." Damon anxiously waited for the system notification, and it finally arrived.
