SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 125: A trap?

Artimius’s smile grew ever so faintly. "Yes, I am talking about a spaceship that we can use to travel to other planets. Blood God, what do you truly know about the world you live in?"

Damon opened and closed his mouth. Nothing. He knew nothing.

Sylvara smirked. She then explained on her grandfather’s behalf. "What everyone knows and has come to believe is that there are eight planets in our solar system and one moon that orbits Earth. That life evolved here through natural processes, and that humanity’s reach has barely extended past its own atmosphere.

"But that’s only what the nine hidden families want you to believe. Your understanding of outer space is very rudimentary. You are basically a flat earther."

Damon scowled. There was no need for name-calling now, was there?

Sylvara’s smirk only deepened. "Don’t take it personally. Ninety-nine percent of people on this planet are in the same boat, blindfolded, spoon-fed half-truths. What you call the solar system is a sanitized model, a toy box version of what’s really out there."

"The real truth is that there are at least a hundred planets in our star system. It is our theory that these other worlds already have mana in their atmosphere, because of which we are unable to see or detect them with traditional Earth-based technology."

"Your telescopes, satellites, and even the best scientific minds can only observe what they are allowed to perceive. Anything laced with dense mana signatures remains cloaked from the mundane spectrum."

Artimius nodded in approval. "Mana saturation creates spatial distortions, natural cloaking fields, if you will. Some of these planets exist in folded layers of reality, occupying the same orbital space but separated by frequency. Think of them like hidden layers in a music track, inaudible to the average ear, yet always there, humming beneath the surface."
