Cho Euntak appreciated the fact that Baek Jeho was helping him, but he could see his boyfriend’s eyes sparkling.

"I’m sorry, Euntak-ah. It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, so I can’t help but tease you," Baek Jeho’s mother said, smiling. She then placed the teacup on the saucer quietly, looking at Cho Euntak more seriously now. It was a bit intimidating, but her tone was soft while speaking, so it wasn’t really scary. "To be honest, I’m not surprised that you two are together now. Even though my son had dated a lot of girls in the past, I knew none of them would last long. I’m not saying that my son didn’t take those relationships seriously— I’m just saying that I’ve always known that my son’s heart truly belongs to you, Euntak-ah."

Hearing those words from Baek Jeho’s mother made Cho Euntak smile.
So, I’m practically Baek Jeho’s first love— he just didn’t know it before.
"Eomma, you made it sound like I dated a lot of girls before," Baek Jeho complained lightly. "It’s not like that, okay?"
"Whatever. You can’t change your past, and I don’t think Cho Euntak is the type of person to bring it up," Baek Jeho’s mother said while waving her hand dismissively. "Son, you have to be good to our Euntak. I won’t forgive you if you hurt him. I’ll take his side, no matter what."
Baek Jeho just rolled his eyes, but it was obvious that he didn’t mind that his mother was taking Cho Euntak’s side already.
