Hence, that night, he discussed it with Kim Heedo.

"Garam Hyung assured me that the lactation center in Sowon Maternity Center is strict when accepting breastmilk," Sohee said while putting his head on Kim Heedo’s shoulder while they were sitting on their bed instead of lying down. "Any mother who has excess of breastmilk can be a milk donor. The lactation center will then require them to fill out a consent form. After that comes the screening process. That includes testing for HIV, Hepatitis B, and other things. Once cleared, only then would the lactation center accept the milk donations."

"I see," Kim Heedo said while nodding thoughtfully. "Did Garam Hyung-nim also use the lacation center’s services?"

"Yes, and that’s exactly why he suggested that to me."

"Are you okay with feeding our babies with breastmilk from other people?" Kim Heedo asked carefully. "Of course, I’m not saying that I’m against it, Hyung. I’m just making sure that you’re not being rash with your decision."

"I appreciate that. Thank you," Sohee said, wrapping an arm around his husband’s waist. "It’s not that I don’t think infant formulas are good enough. I just want our babies to be fed with breastmilk because I believe in breastfeeding benefits. Is that alright with you, Heedo-ya?"

"Yes, Hyung. If feeding our twins with breastmilk makes you feel better, then let’s do that," Kim Heedo said, pausing for a moment. "But can I use my power and influence as a chaebol to make sure that the breastmilk we’ll buy from the lactation center is really safe?"

"Of course, Heedo-ya. In fact, I’d prefer if you do that. It doesn’t hurt to make extra sure that our twins will receive safe breastmilk."
