Chapter 151: Take Me There
** Harper **
Harper wanted to keep her eyes on him ... She really did, and she really tried. She wanted to see him as he worked his magic on her, as he took her to blissful places that no one else ever had, but the moment his lips landed ... all she could do was throw her head back in a shuddering moan, eyes squeezed shut.
He was doing things differently today, she could tell that from the very beginning. His touches were less sensual than cherishing, although she loved it all the same. But still, she hadn’t expected it to feel ... this good. Even better than usual when he parted her with a gentle yet precise stroke, sliding his tongue from her slippery entrance all the way up to the apex of her core, running soft circles around that most sensitive spot. Just before she could start to wonder if he’d tease her to the edge and back like he always did, making her whimper and beg while consumed by maddening need, he grazed that bundle of nerves ever so gently, with just enough pressure to quench all her thirst but not too much to push her too far.
The sensation was so heavenly that Harper felt even her toes curl. Her fingers flexed subconsciously, tightening within his hair, and her other hand clenched on top of the bed sheets, crushing a handful of fresh rose petals and sending its heady scent wafting in the air.
"Eli—" She wanted to ask how it was possible that he knew exactly the way she wanted him, that he knew exactly how to send her soaring above the clouds with just one single movement. But the words died into another moan immediately when he did it again, flattening that impossibly skilled tongue against the same spot and sending a new wave of heat spiraling from her core to her whole body.
"Oh God ..." Her voice grew thin as she let out a gasp. "If you had done it like this every time before ..."
"You would’ve gotten there in thirty seconds?" Eli finished the sentence for her, and she felt a puff of chuckle brushing against her thighs.
"More like ... ten seconds." She chuckled breathily herself, and she sighed again at his next move, a clean lick down her center that made her lightheaded in a zip of surreal bliss. What she said was not an exaggeration, considering the pulsing flames already hissing in that place at the mercy of his mouth ...
But then he paused, the warmth of his tongue gone before she could climb up the highest ledge. The mattress dipped as he shifted his weight, kissing his way back up her stomach. "Is that what you want?" he breathed against her skin, the words a delicious tickle. "Or would you rather prefer ... more?"
