Chapter 20: Let It Go

Harper's heart was thrumming so hard in her ears that she wondered if Eli could hear it too.
She wanted his touch so badly. She wanted his fingers on her and inside her, making her feel all the things that she had never felt before. The thought was both thrilling and a bit scary — no one else had ever touched her like that yet. Not for a lack of opportunities ... But for some reason, she just never felt ready enough to let anyone take her there.
But she was ready now. More than ready.
It felt as if Eli's hand had lingered without moving for an eternity though. He ghosted over her waist, as if waiting for her to say something. The silent anticipation only made her feel more needily impatient, sending more pulses of want down between her legs.
Harper drew in a shaky puff of air. "Keep going ..." A breathy plea threaded out of her.
There was the briefest moment of pause, and then she heard the sound of a smile against her ear. With an easy pop, the button of her shorts came undone, and he slipped under.
She forgot to breathe as he hooked the lacey fabric of her panty to the side, and his nimble fingers stroked her folds in a slow, measured rhythm. She could hardly believe how wet she already was ... It was almost embarrassing to feel the slipperiness encasing him, a thick gel of heat coating his every move. The realization made her cheeks burn a little, and that only rendered her body more sensitive. She bit her lips, smothering a moan.
Yet the half sound must've still made its way out. Eli drew away from the kisses he was peppering over her neck, and he touched his forehead to hers. "This is when you get to enjoy what you feel, Harper." His words were warm against her cheeks. "No need to hide it. Let it all out."
With that, his finger dipped into her.
