Chapter 479- Dizziness
Where is she? Is she safe? Why couldn’t the hotel provide CCTV footage?
All these questions were attacking George’s brain during a meeting with all the board members. His fingers were tapping the polished surface of the conference table, ignoring the discussion going on in the room.
"Sir! Mr. Donovan?"
George blinked.
Everyone was looking at him, waiting.
One of his senior executives repeated his question after a bit of hesitation, "Should we go ahead with the proposed partnership or wait for further evaluation?"
George could hardly process the question. He glanced at the screen and saw a bunch of projections, then he nodded absentmindedly, "Hmm. Do whatever works."
The people sitting there exchanged puzzled glances. The same senior executive cleared his throat, "B-but... but we need your approval on the final terms."
George pinched the bridge of his nose and exhaled sharply, "Fine," he snapped, "email me the details."
His response was met with an awkward silence, and then the meeting continued as one of them kept talking about the numbers flashing on the screen.
After fifteen minutes, as the discussion wrapped up, George pushed back his chair and stood up, "Thank you, everyone. Meeting adjourned."
