Chapter 476- Smitten

Mrs. Eileen hesitated, her gaze flickering towards the small clock on the nightstand. By now, it was past midnight.
She let out another sigh, "I swear you two will be the end of me," she muttered, shuffling towards the dresser to grab the phone, "if I get scolded for this... you both owe me."
Emma and Olivia exchanged a quick glance, relieved that Mrs. Eileen was at least willing to help.
Mrs. Eileen tapped on the screen and then pressed the phone to her ear. A few seconds later she looked at them, "It’s ringing," she whispered.

It had been more than twenty-four hours since she told him that she was involved with someone else. She never loved him.
A small part of his heart was telling him that maybe she was lying.
But then he never imagined that he would force himself on a girl who wanted nothing to do with him.
This morning, he reached the office earlier than usual and immersed himself in work. Paige Fletcher was late today which happened rarely, so he didn’t say anything to her. She tried making small conversation with him, but he ignored her entirely.
He wasn’t interested in talking to anyone at the moment. He only wanted her.
