Chapter 430- Would Break The Rules
"Are we done with the hiring process yet?" George asked his PA who was getting the checks signed by him.
She was a beautiful brunette who was thought to be the luckiest in the Star Corps because she used to be closest to him.
Paige Fletcher was beautiful, intelligent, and everything a man could desire. All her life she had been off limits. But since the day she had joined Star Corps as his PA, her world had changed.
Every morning waking up and coming to work was becoming more enjoyable with each passing day.
"Miss Paige Fletcher. I’m asking you something,"
Poor Paige jumped a little when was caught off guard by her boss’s voice. Her boss was still busy signing the checks while she was busy staring at his chiseled profile.
"Yes, sir," an embarrassed chuckle escaped her lips as she looked at her tab to check the details, "Almost ninety-five percent of them are done, sir. Mr. Edward is taking care of it."
"Hmm," he sighed the last check and then slid the folder across the table, "What about workers’ salaries? Is it resolved?"
Paige nodded and showed her the first page of the folder, "It’s cleared now. They were given the salaries as promised."
"Good!" he gave an approving nod in her direction, "Ask the finance department to get ready for the meeting after lunch. We need to discuss a few pointers with them including our next term’s strategy."
"Sure, Sir," Paige collected the files from the desk and turned to leave. Every time she used to look at her boss, her heart rate used to accelerate. But she couldn’t tell him that.
