"She is as mean as Marissa!" Valerie remarked when she saw Sophia leaving along with Joseph, "She must be over the moon after becoming a wh*ore of the best friend of the President of MSin."
Nina sighed at the absurd statement, "Don’t be ridiculous, Val. As a gynecologist, she has more worth, love. Now relax and sit down."
Valerie was having difficulty controlling her fury. She settled beside Nina and tightened the shawl around her, "What did she mean, I don’t want to miss the party. Is there a late-night surprise planned?"
Instead of answering, Nina just shrugged nonchalantly. Tonight, she didn’t want to feel bad about anything. Her son had told her that he would talk to her after the event. She wanted to know if it would be right after the party or tomorrow.
However, the way Dr. Sophia subtly hinted, she had an uncomfortable feeling. Like an intuition. As if something was about to happen.
Something bad!
Silly! She scolded herself, nothing bad is going to happen tonight.
The only worst thing that happened to their family was Marissa and Nina knew how to tackle her.

Marissa stood before the mirror, examining the final result. The image of the woman looking back at her looked gorgeous.
A hairstylist worked on her hair and set her hair in a classic chignon; soft curls framed her face beautifully. After getting done with her hair, the woman was then ushered to the girls’ room where she had to attend to their hair.
