Maybe he paid the amount for the tour and for using their dining room but did not get the breakfast made.

Rafael signaled Emily to come over, "Take the kids into the garden, until their breakfast is ready."

The gleaming marble countertops, high-end stainless-steel appliances, and the large windows that opened in the kitchen garden.
It was such a pristine and immaculate kitchen that Marissa could just stare at it but didn’t want to work there for fear that it might get dirty.
