Chapter 30: The Imaginary Intruder!
Lucien was at the training hall, waiting for Rin to appear for training. While he did his sit-ups and press-ups, staring at the door, Rin never came. The door didn’t open and a white haired beauty didn’t walk in.
He immediately sprang up from the floor, grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat off his body. He had no idea why Rin didn’t come. Rin should have sent a message if he was busy or... Something else.
He heard the news about Rin getting attacked by some of the students he had spent the night with before. He wished he could get rid of all of them himself so they won’t bother Rin anymore, but by doing that, half of the academy population would vanish.
He hurriedly put on his shirt, shaking his head, fully aware it was a bad idea.
"I’d better go find my Rin myself," he grumbled and grabbed a sword, for protection... just in case. Not his protection... Rin’s.
He went to the clinic first and just as he thought, it was locked. He tried peeping in through the window and it was empty. The lights weren’t even on.
"Did he head to his dorm?"
Lucien wondered and made his way there. He sneaked past the security and arrived at Rin’s door.
He grabbed the door knob and pulled it. The door didn’t budge.
"Seems like baby lamb is asleep," he said, rubbing his chin. "I guess I’ll see him tomo-"
Lucien froze as he lifted his hand to sniff it. He could perceive a damned familiar scent on it. It was on the door knob.
"That bastard doctor... why did he come here? To see Rin?" He wanted to barge in to ask Rin, but he stopped himself. He didn’t want to wake him up.
