Chapter 5: Rin Is Just A Stray Cat!
Rin’s heart dropped straight into his ass.
Lucien Vortellion... six feet of bad fucking news... was standing right in front of him, shirt half-unbuttoned, sweat-slicked, and looking like he just stepped out of a very illegal adult film.
"Shit," Rin hissed under his breath, wishing more than anything for a teleport skill. Just one tap, and boom... back in his room, under the covers, pretending none of this ever happened. But no. His system was still half-dead, probably napping or playing dead again.
No help from that bastard.
Rin slowly raised his hand to shove Lucien out of his personal space, but Lucien caught it and slammed it against the shelf behind them with a loud thunk.
"Ugh!" Rin bit down a groan. "What the fuck, man?!"
Behind Lucien, the student he’d been busy with moments ago shifted, still on all fours, clearly confused. "Lucien? Is someone there?"
Lucien didn’t look away from Rin. His smirk was all teeth.
"Someone? Oh no, it’s just a stray cat," he murmured, voice like silk wrapped around a razor.
"Huh? How would a cat get in here?" the student asked, wobbling to his feet with an audible crack from somewhere in his back.
"I wonder," Lucien murmured, his grip on Rin’s wrist tightening. He leaned in, nose brushing Rin’s neck. Rin tensed as he struggled to release himself.
Then Lucien inhaled. It was a very long, deep and intoxicating sniff.
