Chapter 39 - 038: Next Time Don’t Wear Lace
Wang Jun anxiously said, "Yang, last night we used poison to incapacitate those bandits, planning to capture them this morning, but now they’ve completely surrounded us!"
"Weren’t they supposed to be knocked out by the poison?"
Yang Tian frowned.
"That’s correct, earlier on the infrared, they appeared inactive, but it was all a facade. They waited for us to lower our guard before attacking us!"
As Wang Jun spoke, the sound of gunfire erupted from outside.
"The bandits are here!"
The entire camp boiled into action, soldiers armed and organized flowed out to confront the bandits. However, the attack was so sudden; everyone believed the bandits were knocked out in the cave and planned to move in by morning when the toxin dissipated. Who would have thought the bandits would strike now?
"Damn it, we were fooled!"
Wang Jun cursed harshly.
They planned to wait until the toxin dissipated before sending soldiers in to clear the area. After all, a military-grade toxin should incapacitate someone for days.
But who would have thought these bandits would be so cunning?
"Yang Tian, the bandits outside have already advanced, you need to think of something!"
