Becoming the Richest by Farming

Lucy Wood arrived carrying things, with several people helping her push stuff in behind her.

It looked like she bought a lot.

Upon entering the courtyard, she found Ruffy Smith there, and Lucy cheerfully waved her hand, "Happy New Year, Ellen, and Ruffy too."

Ruffy’s lips twitched slightly, and he said unwillingly, "Happy New Year."

Ellen asked, "What did you buy, so many things?"

Lucy: "Oh, they’re all for the New Year’s celebration, plus gifts for people in the village, I accidentally bought too much."

She said smilingly as she pushed all the items in, quickly filling up the entire courtyard.

So, the three of them spent the afternoon in the courtyard, dividing up the stuff.
