The Lonely Genius: "Actually, I was just saying, today as soon as my encyclopedia information came out, my Instagram story exploded. Everyone started tagging me, isn’t that annoying? I can only research AI, but I can’t be a freak like that. A freak like that must have grown up eating books, without the need for human food."

Ellen: "...She just learns a bit faster, essentially there’s no difference from ordinary people."

The Lonely Genius: "I know you’re trying to cheer me up, but you did manage to make me laugh anyway. Let’s not talk about that anymore. I think our discussion has made some initial progress, so we can start the experiment soon, but it takes money to do this stuff, and I need to prepare a detailed proposal to persuade those consortiums. If we’re going to get down to business, we need to secure funding first!"

Ellen: "Don’t worry about the money. I’ve already got it covered, and I’ve actually started the relevant experiments."

The Lonely Genius: "According to my calculations, just to get this project started, we’d have to throw in several hundred million. Not to mention the expenses needed when we actually start implementing it. You’ve got it sorted?"

Ellen: "Not exactly, but I’m not short of cash. Since I had nothing better to do, I went ahead and started the experiments, even though the initial effects are not very promising and there’s a lot I haven’t gotten ready."
