She said that this professor, at such a young age, had reached heights in life others could not achieve in a lifetime, becoming a Hadton professor at the age of fifteen, and left Hadton five years ago. However, she kept a low profile, and it seems like the news about her was deliberately suppressed except among students."

Seeing David Wood’s thunderstruck expression, he couldn’t help being surprised, "You really didn’t know? If I hadn’t seen the news today, I wouldn’t have known she was your granddaughter."

Had his granddaughter not come to him with the news exclaiming how crazy the people of the Wood Family were, he would not have known. The Hadton genius his granddaughter spoke of was none other than Ellen Young. She had only mentioned her briefly a few times, causing even his usually dominant granddaughter to concede that some people are simply destined for the clouds, beyond the envy of others.

Because without the inherent gifts, the peak isn’t something you can reach just by working hard.
