Chapter 1381: Worried About You
"I understand. Don’t worry, we’ll definitely live well." Jiang Xue promised with a very serious look.

"How could I not? As soon as class was over, the driver Grandpa sent was already there. I came straight back without wasting a single moment."
"Really? I thought you came by yourself. I didn’t expect Grandpa to actually send a car to pick you up."
"Who says he didn’t? I wasn’t planning on coming today. But the old man spoke, so I couldn’t not come. Besides, you’re here too. I was worried he’d have you stay the night, and I wouldn’t feel at ease."
"What is there for you not to feel at ease about at Grandpa’s house?"
Mu Qiancheng chuckled and didn’t answer. In fact, it wasn’t that he felt uneasy; it was that if he couldn’t hold Jiang Xue in his arms at night, he felt out of sorts. If Jiang Xue weren’t here it would be one thing, but now that she was, and he still couldn’t share a bed with her, how was that acceptable?
