Chapter 1346: Expert Disarms the Bomb
Watching Jiang Xue dismantle the remote control, no one said much. Their task was to protect Jiang Xue, as long as she was safe, everything was fine.
After breaking the remote control, Jiang Xue asked everyone to search around again to see if they could find any suspicious persons. Although she knew the other party might have left long ago, she still wanted to try her luck to see if she could unearth the assassin.

After the expert arrived and was informed about the bomb’s location, he drove Jiang Xue and others away before starting the bomb disposal work.
Meanwhile, the people sent by Mr. Lan went to talk to that little thug. After questioning him, they had someone send him to the police station.
After sending off the thug, Xiao Chen, sent by Mr. Lan, finally had time to talk to Jiang Xue. Jiang Xue knew Xiao Chen, so she cooperated well, answering whatever he asked.
After asking Jiang Xue a few questions, Xiao Chen fell silent, seriously waiting for the expert’s bomb disposal results.
Time passed bit by bit, and everyone, including Jiang Xue, felt a bit nervous and anxious. Of course, they were more worried. Especially Jiang Xue, who was concerned about the possibility of the assassin having a backup plan.
Even though she had destroyed the remote control, there was no guarantee the assassin didn’t have another remote control.
The waiting time passed very slowly, and five minutes went by in the blink of an eye. The expert had not come out yet, and everyone became increasingly worried.
Jiang Xue even wanted to go and help. However, Xiao Chen stopped her and said, "Miss Jiang, please be patient and wait."
"It’s been such a long time; I’m worried about something happening to the expert." Jiang Xue said anxiously.
Unexpectedly, Xiao Chen gave her a light glance and then said, "Miss Jiang, please trust the professionals."
Jiang Xue opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but ultimately said nothing, patiently continuing to wait.
Fortunately, this time it wasn’t too long; only another two minutes passed before the expert crawled out from under the car and said to Xiao Chen, "Danger is neutralized."
Seeing the expert come out, Jiang Xue and others breathed a sigh of relief. Upon hearing the expert’s words ’Danger is neutralized,’ they could finally let out the breath they were holding.
The expert stood up and took away the dismantled bomb. Watching the expert get into the car, Xiao Chen turned around and said to Jiang Xue, "Miss Jiang, Minister Lan invites you to visit us. Do you want to take our car or drive your own?"
"I’ll take my own car!" Jiang Xue replied with a smile. Even if Xiao Chen hadn’t mentioned it, she intended to find Mr. Lan. She needed to discuss a plan with Mr. Lan, ideally one that could capture all these assassins. Otherwise, she would feel very insecure.
After all, whoever had to constantly guard against assassins would not feel secure.
Upon arriving at the Ministry of State Security, Jiang Xue went directly to Mr. Lan’s office. Seeing Jiang Xue arrive, Mr. Lan immediately stopped his work and started chatting with her.
