Chapter 1331: Watch Out for the Car
Watching the Little Fox, whose eyes were red with urgency, Jiang Xue felt speechless. Sure enough, all those grand statements were fake; when it comes to food, integrity is nowhere to be found.
"Look how anxious you are," Jiang Xue said as she headed toward the storage room designated for storing things.
Entering the storeroom, Jiang Xue found some food and then headed to the kitchen. Seeing this, the Little Fox eagerly followed Jiang Xue into the kitchen.
After bustling around for over twenty minutes, Jiang Xue had finished cooking the food, served herself a small bowl, and left the rest for the Little Fox.
After eating and drinking to their fill, the Little Fox wiped its mouth and went off to rest. Meanwhile, Jiang Xue went to the mountain top to cultivate Spiritual Power, then returned to her room to sleep.
Upon waking up, it was almost eight o’clock. Jiang Xue cleaned up in the space and then returned to her room, opened the door, and walked out.
Outside, people were having breakfast, and upon seeing Jiang Xue, they immediately invited her to join them for breakfast. After eating, Jiang Xue found Mr. Lan to say goodbye.
Mr. Lan didn’t insist on keeping Jiang Xue, thanked her repeatedly, and then let her leave.
Jiang Xue did not go back but went to work at the company. Upon arriving at the company, Jiang Xue became busy. She stayed busy until it was time to get off work in the morning.

The siblings left the company to go for lunch. Since Shangguan Wenbin was treating, they didn’t go to that small restaurant near the company but drove to a Hunan restaurant two blocks away.
Jiang Xue particularly likes spicy food, especially braised duck with chili sauce. For this reason, Shangguan Wenbin specifically ordered her a braised duck with chili sauce.
Once the braised duck arrived, Jiang Xue started to eat immediately. Watching her unafraid of spicy food, Shangguan Wenbin felt a bit uneasy.
In all honesty, he eats spicy food, but he can’t handle as much as Jiang Xue. He couldn’t eat something as spicy as braised duck with chili sauce.
Fortunately, hot dishes soon arrived, and Shangguan Wenbin finally was able to start eating.
The siblings chatted over their meal, which lasted for more than an hour. If it weren’t for realizing that time was running short, they would probably have continued chatting.
After settling the bill, Shangguan Wenbin and Jiang Xue left together. Once out of the restaurant, Shangguan Wenbin went to get the car, while Jiang Xue waited at the entrance.
While waiting, suddenly a car sped towards Jiang Xue, and one glance at its posture made it clear it intended to hit Jiang Xue.
Seeing this, Shangguan Wenbin was shocked and shouted loudly towards Jiang Xue: "Sis, watch out for the car!"
However, Shangguan Wenbin’s voice was drowned out by the sound of the car, and Jiang Xue couldn’t hear it. Just as the car was about to crash into Jiang Xue, she suddenly leapt up and landed directly on the roof of the car that was about to hit her.
