Chapter 1288: Gu King in Hand
Officer Chen was delighted upon hearing Jiang Xue’s words and asked excitedly, "Miss Jiang, can you heal?"
"A bit."
"Then we’ll be counting on you." Officer Chen still trusted Jiang Xue, especially since he wasn’t sure if Master Niu could make it to the hospital if Jiang Xue didn’t intervene.
"No problem!" Jiang Xue waved her hand, then walked over to Master Niu. Upon seeing Jiang Xue, Master Niu’s eyes filled with hatred as he glared at her and said, "So it’s you!"
"That’s right!" Jiang Xue replied pleasantly, completely ignoring the hatred in Master Niu’s eyes.
"Bitch, I’m going to kill you!" Master Niu cursed loudly, trying to take a swing at Jiang Xue. Unfortunately, just as he raised his hand, the police intervened, restraining his hand and shouting, "Behave yourself!"
With his hands restrained, Master Niu was helpless. He could do nothing but glare at Jiang Xue.
However, his glare was fierce. If looks could kill, Jiang Xue would have died several times over.
Seeing Master Niu restrained by the police, Jiang Xue’s face once again showed a smile, and she said, "Master Niu, don’t be ungrateful. You’re feeling terrible with pain, aren’t you? I’m here to help."
"Bah, don’t be so pretentious, who cares." Master Niu spat at Jiang Xue, then continued to glare at her intensely.
"No good deed goes unpunished, that’s about people like you." Jiang Xue looked helpless, then changed her tone and said, "Forget it, forget it, if you don’t appreciate it, that’s your business. I just need to do what I think is right."
After saying this, Jiang Xue took silver needles from her person and began to insert them into Master Niu’s body.
With her actions, the Gu King sensed the threat and started moving frantically within Master Niu’s body. Moreover, it was searching for a way out, planning to leave Master Niu’s body.
Seeing this, Jiang Xue’s eyes flashed. Another silver needle pierced down, and the Gu King moved along Master Niu’s veins to his arm, then emerged from the back of his hand.
Seeing a bug suddenly emerge from Master Niu, the police were startled. Fortunately, Jiang Xue was prepared and took out a bottle to contain the Gu King.
Only then did Lina, who was being watched by the police, realize what Jiang Xue intended to do.
Damn it, that Gu King was hers. But now it’s in Jiang Xue’s hands.
Lina was infuriated, but could do nothing. Master Niu, seeing the Gu King emerge, was also shocked. He turned to look at Lina, and upon seeing the anger on her face, he began to regret.
"Bitch, give me back the Gu King!" Master Niu shouted loudly, trying to retrieve the Gu King from Jiang Xue.
However, Jiang Xue had no time for him. With the Gu King in hand, she needed to go back and study it. As for anything else, she had no interest in dealing with it.
Besides, with the Gu King out of his body, Master Niu’s pain was halved and his complexion improved. To the police, it seemed Jiang Xue had removed the bug from his body, and he was alright.
The police, coming to their senses, were grateful to Jiang Xue. They were somewhat apprehensive about Master Niu, so they promptly handcuffed him and escorted him away.
Master Niu and Lina were loaded onto a police car, while Jiang Xue returned to her own car and departed. Master Niu had been apprehended; she had no intention of getting involved in the upcoming affairs.
