"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" Jiang Xue had long noticed Wang Ziwen observing her, but she didn’t mind. However, he had been staring for too long, so she couldn’t help but speak up.
"No, nothing!" Wang Ziwen was a bit embarrassed and quickly realized that what he was doing was inappropriate, so he swiftly looked away.
Jiang Xue glanced at him without asking further questions. Regardless of what Wang Ziwen thought, she didn’t care.
The two waited at the station for a while, and then the bus arrived. They called for others to get on, and Jiang Xue and Wang Ziwen boarded together, finding a seat near the front.
With five minutes left before departure, the conductor advised everyone to buy their tickets. Once the tickets were bought, Jiang Xue closed her eyes, planning to sleep.
As for the clothes she bought, they were placed to the side. Fortunately, there was only a set of clothes for Mu Qiancheng; the rest had been put away in the department store.
Jiang Xue slept all the way to the town, only waking up when the bus stopped. Wang Ziwen had planned to wake her but seeing her awake, smiled and called her to get off the bus.
After getting off the bus, Jiang Xue parted ways with Wang Ziwen. Wang Ziwen stayed in town, while she had to take another bus back to the village.
When she got back to the village, it was already past four, nearly five in the afternoon. As soon as Jiang Xue got off the bus, she saw her parents-in-law standing by the roadside, waiting for her.
