Chapter 17: The All-around Husband
"Alright, let me find it!"
"In that cabinet!" Jiang Xue pointed to the small cabinet beside her. She remembered that her mother-in-law had put the milk powder and bottles inside.
Mu Qiancheng walked to the cabinet, opened it, and sure enough, the milk powder was inside. He took out the milk powder and bottle, then left the room.
"Where are you going?" Jiang Xue looked at Mu Qiancheng taking the things outside and couldn’t help but ask.
"To make milk for the baby," Mu Qiancheng replied without thinking. The baby was crying so much because he was hungry that it made his heart ache.
"There’s hot water in the room," Jiang Xue said, pointing to the kettle in the room.
But Mu Qiancheng shook his head and said, "This hot water won’t do. It needs to be warm water. And I have to wash the bottle before making the milk."
After saying this, Mu Qiancheng went out directly. Jiang Xue stared at his departing back, stunned for a while. As a mother, she didn’t understand anything at all, didn’t know anything. Surprisingly, Mu Qiancheng, this newly minted dad, seemed to know everything.
If she didn’t know for sure that Mu Qiancheng was a first-time dad, she would really suspect if he was an "old hand" at this.
