Chapter 749 - Caravan Conclusion
Unable to resist Ren's charms, both Yuwen and Dilseffa activated their Seduction Auras and Enticement skills as they asked him in sexy and pleading voices to tell them all about his adventures while they waited for the caravan to get to its destination. Since they had almost 5 hours before that happened, Ren couldn't refuse such a polite request, despite their heavy-handed application of their skills.
“Where would you like me to start?” Ren asked.
“From your very first adventure.” Yuwen said right away without having to think about it.
“Oo! Oo!” Teepo hopped up and down on Ren's shoulder. “That's when he met me!”
“Really?” Yuwen asked and leaned forward as she loosened her tunic. “Do tell.”
Ren almost laughed at her nearly pointless effort, since she was already his concubine. He let her feel his amusement and started to tell them the tale.

“So, Jirqym.” Kenkoth said. “How many of his skills did you get?”
“All of his base skills as an Artificer, some of his fighter skills, and some of his mage skills.” Jirqum said. “It will take a lot longer to get them all.”
“I saw that he surprised you just as much as us with the Fire and Water from his hands trick.” Tatya said, and he felt her amusement.
“It wasn't a trick.” Jirqym said. “He has the Hands of the Gods ability.”
“You're wrong.” Kenkoth said. “Mortals can't have that ability.”
“Is he mortal, though?” Jirqym asked, and both Kenkoth and Tatya fell silent. “The longer I'm around him, the more I learn about him.” He said. “He's not normal. At all.”
“What do you mean?”
“He's not invulnerable; but, he might as well be with Toughness 10.” Jirqyn said and they gasped.
“Some of the toughest creatures we've encountered have only been a 6 and we could barely hurt them, even with magical weapons.” Kenkoth said. “How did he become a 10?”
“He said that he is fully leveled up as an Adventurer.” Tatya said.
“I always knew Adventurers would be difficult to deal with if we had to fight them.” Kenkoth said. “But, now...”
“If it ever came down to it, he would put us all to sleep in a few seconds, just like he did with Meccis.” Tatya said. “He wouldn't have to fight us at all.”
“What do we do about him?”
“We keep doing exactly what we've been doing.” Tatya said. “We treat him normally and try our best to not make him angry.” She said. “If he ever decides we shouldn't exist...”
“...we wouldn't even know we were dead before it happened.” Jirqym said.
Tatya was quiet for a while and Jirqym managed to generate a piece of parchment and handed it over to her. She shook her head at the very large list and couldn't believe that one person could have so many skills. Beholo the healer sat beside her and read it over her shoulder.
“How does he decide what to do first?” Tatya asked and scanned the list. “I can barely understand these descriptions!”
Jirqym chuckled, which was rare for him. “If he spent as much time in his Sanctuary as I suspect he did, he knows exactly what he can do.” He explained. “I suspect a lot of his special skills won't show up on that list.”
“What? Why?” Tatya asked.
“I wouldn't have known he had the Hands of the Gods ability if he hadn't used it in front of me.” Jirqym said.
“Is he hiding his skills?” Kenkoth asked. “Is that even possible?”
“No, he doesn't realize that some of them are like that.” Jirqym said. “He was completely honest when he said he would let me read as much of him as I could.”
“You got a lot in so short a time.” Beholo the healer said. “I've not seen you make this large of a list before, even from other Adventurers.”
Jirqym smiled and held out another list and it was much smaller. “This was from an Adventurer fighter that visited the castle last week.”
Beholo held the small piece of paper next to Ren's large one and compared them. “He really does have the Fighter's skills mixed into his own.”
“He can also change them at will.” Jirqym reminded them. “It takes but a moment and he can become any other kind of Adventurer out there.”
“Why would he cut himself off from those other skills?” Tatya asked.
“He doesn't.” Jirqym said. “He has access to them all the time; but, it just makes using those skills easier if he's that type at the time.”
“He can cast a top level spell on his own; but, if he's a top level Mage at the time, it's a little easier?” Tatya asked, and Jirqym nodded slightly. “That's amazing.”
“What's amazing is that he agreed to let me learn all of the skills he has.” Jirqym said. “We won't need to meet any other Adventurer to learn what they can do, because after his trip to our lands we'll already know everything.”
*
Several hours passed as Ren told Yuwen and Dilseffa about his many adventures. By the time they reached the border of the Human Kingdom, both women had removed their tunics completely and were cuddled up on either side of him with death grips on his arms. All they wore were their thin bodysuits, which was like a second skin for them and left nothing to the imagination.
Teepo warned him when they were about to cross the barrier between the lands, and Ren paused in his story about the Marilith Demon. When the caravan crossed the border, it was almost like crossing someone's Aura. Ren felt a bit of a tingle and then they were across and kept going. Ren was happy that he had unlocked a new area to explore, then continued his story about stopping the fight to eat the summoned pig demon, and Yuwen and Dilseffa couldn't contain their amusement any longer.
“You... you stopped the Shargon Caverns boss fight... to... to... hahaha!” Yuwen laughed.
“I can't believe you did that!” Dilseffa exclaimed and laughed, too. “Imagine that! Killing a summoned creature, then eating it in front of a Marilith Demon!”
“Thankfully, it had the virtue of both surprising and amusing her.” Ren said and let his own amusement join theirs. “It smelled so good that I couldn't help myself.”
“She could have torn you apart when you left yourself so wide open like that.” Yuwen said.
“She could have done that at any time, not just then.” Ren said. “I realized it pretty quickly that she was trying to amuse herself by playing with her prey for a while before killing it.”
“Why didn't she kill you?” Dilseffa asked.
“I kept her entertained, of course.” Ren said. “I kept her interest and showed her different things, and her curiosity overpowered her need to smite me.”

Yuwen laughed. “You played a very dangerous game, My King.”
Ren shrugged. “It was more like... hey, you could kill me or you can look at this enticing thing!”
Dilseffa laughed at that. “Yes! That works for nearly all predators!”
“Well, only if they're predisposed to be distracted.” Ren said. “Remember the sabretooth rock golem?”
“Oh, that was a scary story!” Dilseffa shivered as her fear rose and she hugged his arm tighter and pressed it between her breasts. “A giant rock cat leaping and clawing at you!”
Ren poured calming feelings into her and she relaxed. “I didn't mean to traumatize you, I just wanted to show you that some can't be distracted from their task, no matter what you do.”
Dilseffa took a deep breath and let it out. “Yes, My King.” She said. “I understand what you're saying.”
“I hope so.” Ren said, and leaned his head towards her and rubbed his cheek against hers, since both of his arms were still held by both women. “I want you to be careful, okay?”
“I will be, My King.” Dilseffa said, her face flushed slightly red at his caring and worry over her safety.
Ren straightened his head and looked at Yuwen. “For a change of subject, you said before that if I took you to dinner, you would show me why you're mine.”
Yuwen glanced at Artemis, who now sat across from them, then at Dilseffa, who let Ren's arm go. “I had hoped for a more private setting.”
Ren chuckled. “Artemis is my familiar, and you and Dilseffa are my concubines, even if only in name.”
Yuwen nodded slightly and let his arm go so she could sit up straight. “This is how I know I am yours.” She said and used both hands to grab the neck of her bodysuit and pulled down. Ren was surprised at how stretchy the fabric was as it easily moved out and down off of her shoulders without tearing, then she revealed her very nice chest. That wasn't what caught his attention, however.
“Is that...”
“I don't know what it is, but I gained it when I submitted to you.” Yuwen said.
Ren reached out with his right hand to touch the emblem of a dire wolf head that was embossed above her heart. “I didn't realize...” When he touched her skin, the emblem pulsed and she gasped as it started to glow and the connection between them appeared. He felt a tingle as a glow started on his left hand.
