Mythran's Master Of All

Chapter 668 - Working On It

Fire Dancer couldn't understand why Ren was asking her to make a decision right away. Most beings, when given a choice, would delay for as long as possible before wanting to confront such an event. Yet, he was literally demanding for her to choose if he lived or died within 5 minutes.

Ren felt her emotional turmoil and didn't move, or try to look at her, or even try to influence her in any way. He didn't plead for his life, or explain that if he was killed, she would have to wait almost 7 years before she could possibly see him again. He would also return to his last spawn point, which was back in the Earth Realm, and she would have to wait for him to open a portal and return to her.

When 4 minutes and 50 seconds had passed, Fire Dancer still hadn't made a decision. Her emotions switched from pure anger to doubt, practically every second, and Ren had no idea which way she would go when the time was up... and then the time was up.

“Killing you would be too easy.” Fire Dancer said, despite her flash of anger, and Ren looked up at her. “You have submitted yourself to be my prisoner, and I will hold you to that promise.” She said and bared her teeth at him. “A promise I intend to make you keep, Father.”

“Thank you.” Ren said and stood up. “May I ask a favor?”

“No.”

“Deity of Fire, please be reasonable.” Ren said. “I merely want to...”

“I don't care what you want.” Fire Dancer said. “You told me to make a decision, and I have.” She said. “You will abide by your own words, and be glad that I didn't choose to kill you.”

“I am more glad about it than you realize, Deity of Fire.” Ren said. “However, I must leave for a short time before my sentence starts.”

“Your sentence started 2 weeks ago!” Fire Dancer exclaimed as her anger flared again.

“You just made the decision.” Ren said. “Allow me to get my affairs in order, and I will return as soon as possible.”

“Do you really think I will let you leave?” Fire Dancer said and waved a hand, then hundreds of Fire elementals surrounded Ren.

“Deity of Fire, please.” Ren sighed. “I shouldn't need to explain that I have Adventurer's business to attend to.”

Fire Dancer waved her hand and the Fire elementals backed off.

“This is not a Safe Zone for me, so if I try to leave on Adventurer's business, I will die.”

“So, your pledge to stay was all for naught.” Fire Dancer spat at him, and her anger seethed within her.

“No, it isn't.” Ren said. “Give me a moment and I'll prove it.”

Fire Dancer thought about it, then pushed her anger aside as she became intrigued. “Go ahead.”

“Thank you.” Ren said and brought up the recipe for the Instant Tower. Since he knew what ingredients it contained, he knew what could be replaced and still have it count as an instant tower. He walked over to the solid Fire wall of the throne room and examined it.

Solid Fire Wall (Indestructible)
An ingenious combination of spells and the Fire element, the Solid Fire Wall can be made in any size and shape, as long as the Mana and Element requirements are met.
