Mythran's Master Of All

Ren dug upwards at a good pace, but he wasn't pushing himself. He knew if he tried to go faster, he was bound to find something that he wasn't going to like... and then he hit another layer of impenetrable rock.

Well, damn. Ren thought and took out the All-Seeing Mirror. Right above him was a large cavern, only about 1000 feet long. It seemed to have stages or platforms that went progressively higher from one end to the other.

“Try going around.” Teepo suggested.

Ren tried to dig to the right and hit another impenetrable rock barrier. He went left and there was another. He sighed and tried going towards the higher end of the cavern and met yet another barrier.

I think I'm supposed to go to the start of this cavern. Ren thought, and dug towards the lowest part. He didn't meet a barrier in this direction, so he kept going.

“I guess they couldn't just put up a sign saying 'go this way'.” Teepo said.

I don't like being forced to do something. Ren thought and met another impenetrable rock barrier. He checked the All-Seeing Mirror again, and he was directly underneath the very beginning of the cavern above him. Should I try to dig around? He asked his friend.

“Don't bother.” Teepo said. “You know it's going to be blocked.”

Ren nodded. It's led us here, so we need go this way. He started to dig up, and less than 10 minutes later, his mining pick met air. Teepo.

Teepo crawled down his arm and Ren held onto him and stuck his hand carefully up through the hole. “It's clear.” Teepo said. “Nothing's moving, and I can't see anything within the first platform.”

Ren pulled him back and put Teepo on his shoulder, then dug out the rest of the way. He climbed out and stood on the first platform. It was very old, 100 feet wide, and the next platform was 30 feet away and 15 feet up. He used Enchanted Eyes and cast Detect Magic and Detect Traps, and nothing appeared except a popup.
