Mythran's Master Of All

Chapter 400 - Pleasure Palace

In a skills total, Ren found out there was an innkeeper, a cook, 2 teachers, a guard, a junior tailor specializing in shoes, a junior blacksmith, a healer that hadn't passed the tests, a farmer and his family, a merchant, a baker, a miner, a woodcutter, a cart driver, a stable hand, a rope maker, a librarian, and even a courtesan.

The woman had been reluctant to admit it at first; but, after everyone encouraged her to tell Ren what she did, she nodded and whispered it in his ear.

“Can I talk to you privately for a moment or two?” She asked, and Ren nodded.

“Please excuse us for a few minutes.” Ren said to the others, and she led him down the hall and to her own bedroom. She shut the door behind them and leaned against it.

“My name is Dalli, and my... skills... are pretty much useless to help the community.” She said, and started to open her dress. “But, I can still be useful.”

Ren touched her hands and she stopped moving. “Why did you come here?”

“I...” Dalli sighed. “To start over. In a small town, it doesn't take long for rumors to spread.”

Ren felt that she was telling the truth. “Ma'am, if you want to keep using your skills, then I have an idea you might like.”

“My Lord.” Dalli smiled seductively and started moving her hands again. Ren took them in his to stop her.

“I didn't mean with me.” Ren said. “Although, I do appreciate the offer.”

“Then what...”

“I'll show you.” Ren said and buttoned up her dress. “Come with me.”

They left her room and walked back to the meeting area.

“I'll get started on the Inn, Barracks and Cafeteria right after I see about getting this young woman a job.” Ren said. “The work crews will be here in the morning to start building your homes.”

Everyone thanked him, and Ren led Dalli up the street with Teepo flying behind.

“Where are we going?” Dalli asked.

Ren took her off the road, across the parking lot, and to the Pleasure Palace.

“Why is there a woman standing in the middle of nowhere?” Dalli asked, and Ren smiled.

“Hi, Ren!” The Manager said. “Who's this?”

“Hopefully a new worker.” Ren said. “She's a courtesan, and her skills might be just what you need.”

“Oh... oh, Ren!” The Manager said happily. “What a great idea! A professional girlfriend!”

“A... a what?” Dalli asked.

“That's just an Adventurer's name for courtesan.” Ren said.

“Oh, okay.” The woman said and smiled. “I'm quite good at it.”

“I'm sure you are.” The Manager said. “How much do you get paid?”

“It depends on the client.” Dalli said. “I usually accept presents instead of money, though.”

“Hm. Well... I'm sure we can work something out.” The Manager said.

“Dalli will need her own space.” Ren said. “I was thinking an apartment on the top floor of one of the towers.”

“A private apartment that players can rent by the hour!” The Manager said. “Ren! You're just full of great ideas!”

Ren chuckled. “Can you add her as an employee?”

“I'd be happy to.” The Manager said and added Dalli to the list of employees, and Dalli gasped as a castle appeared in front of her.

“Oh, my god! A castle just appeared out of nowhere!”

“I was surprised the first time I saw it, too.” The Manager said and looked at Ren. “How are the new outfits coming along?”

“They're done.” Ren said. “I also have some decorations for the walls.”

“Is that what you've been doing all day?”

“Among other things.” Ren said. “Shall we go in?”

“I really need to find a doorman.” The Manager said. “I don't want to have to stand out here and open the door all day.”

“Oh, damn.” Ren said and took out 2 steel squares and enchanted them with the Sending Glyph. He attached one beside the door, then added a wooden sign that said 'Touch and Speak for Entry'. He gave the other one to the Manager. “Until you find someone, keep that on you. When someone asks, you can just tell the door to open.”

The Manager looked at the steel square, then at the door. “Will that work?”

“Go inside and we can test it.” Ren said, and the Manager went inside. He waited for a moment and touched the Sending Square. “I'd like to come in, please.”

The door opened and they saw that the Manager stood in the middle of the room by the main stage.

“It worked!” The Manager nearly yelled. Ren chuckled and brought Dalli inside after he dismissed the Adult Only and Blue Screen Protocol popups, and Teepo flew in behind them.

“This is definitely not a castle.” Dalli said as she looked around.

“It's more like a private dance studio.” Ren said, then Tee-one and Ruck came over to him.

“We've got all the small details done.” Tee-one said. “Shelves for the tankards, chairs, curtains and drapes, railings, windows where the dancers wanted them, and we even added a set of hot tubs in the front tower.”

“This is going to be the best strip club ever!” The Manager said.

“That's what I was going for.” Ren said and took out a bunch of the wall decorations and gave them to Tee-one and Ruck. “Let's get these hung up, and then we can make Dalli's apartment.”

The three of them went around and hung the weapon plaques in appropriate spots, and added mood lighting to show them off.

“What about those outfits?” The Manager asked when they were done decorating. “When I told the girls what you had in mind, a few of them said they'd just die if they didn't get a fur bikini.”

“I bet one of them was Jennifer.” Ren said.

“That's a fool's bet.” The Manager chuckled. “She almost assaulted me when I told her she might get a cloak, too.”

Ren laughed.

“We can start the apartment while you give the dancers their new costumes.” Tee-one said.

“Dalli? Go with Tee-one and Ruck and tell them what you want.” Ren said.

“Really?” Dalli asked. “I can get anything I want?”

“As long as it's something they can build.” Ren said. “Dressers, cabinets, fancy beds, and anything else you might want.”

“Oh, wow.”

“If you want a mirror, that we have to order.” Ren said.

“Maybe you should ask Janice about it.” Tee-one said. “She's a Glassworker. She might have the recipe for it.”

“That's a great idea.” Ren said and looked around. “Yes, we can add mirrors in certain spots...”

“...like behind the bar and the main stage...” Tee-one said.

“...and it will make the place look twice as big.” Ren finished.

“That was weird.” Dalli said and looked between Ren and Tee-one. “It's like you two are thinking the same thing.”

Ren chuckled. “We are.” He said. “Tee-one? Put her upstairs in the tower that doesn't have the hot tubs in it.”

“Ma'am? This way, please.” Tee-one said to Dalli, and took her hand. She nodded and went with Tee-one and Ruck, and Ren looked at the Manager.

“Call the girls together, and I can give out their new outfits.” Ren said.

The Manager brought the other 11 dancers over and they all stood there and watched as Ren took out a display with the 4 dozen wolf fur bikinis on it.

“There's no way we can wear all of those.” One of them said. “There's only 12 of us.”

“I figured you can take two of each, and since each one is different, it still gives you some variety.” Ren said. “My idea is that this is the waitress uniform when you're out serving drinks between dances.”

“That's a great idea!” Jennifer said. “I'll put one on right now!”

Ren watched as she stored her clothing right there in front of him, took the first fur bikini off the rack, and equipped it. He examined it and was surprised at the popup.
