Chapter 26: The Havoc Flux Syndrome
Xavier took a few more deep breaths before speaking.
"Yeah... I’m fine. I just spent a bit too much Aether, I guess?" Xavier replied finally having calmed down.
Is the other material Samuel mentioned the one that allowed me to use Sky Sunder—the Rune etched on the dagger? Xavier wondered, unsure.
"Hmm... I’ll think about it later. For now, I need to get out of this area. With all the commotion I caused, I’m 110% sure hordes of Monsters will gather here. But before that..."

The last remaining monster—the Level Two Ungraded Monster that initially attacked him but had fainted—was the one he killed just now.
"This little booger really thought it could deceive me by playing dead, huh?"
After realizing this, Xavier used the Hell’s Advocate dagger to finish it off quickly.
"One last thing to take care of," Xavier muttered, his gaze settling coldly on the blood-soaked corpses of the two monsters he had just slain. Their twisted forms lay still, oozing pungent fluids into the cracked earth, the smell of burnt flesh thick in the air.
His fingers flexed slightly, anticipation tingling down to his knuckles.
