Chapter 296: Marry me
Her guards were raised and Hazel tightened her grasp on her phone. But before her finger could press on the dial, slender fingers slid down her wrist, curling around it and the phone in her hand disappeared.
Hazel looked at the towering figure in front of her. The sudden proximity caused a manly scent to invade her senses, making her dizzy.
She backed away almost immediately, ’’What do you think you are doing?"
’’You...’’
When Hazel moved to gaze at the manager, she realized that the man was fleeing away from the terrace with his staff members.
Her eyes widened in disbelief, ’’What...’’
’’Shhh,’’ the man removed his hold from her wrist and hurled her phone backward such that it landed on the chair in the distance, ’’It’s me.’’
’’What me? Don’t act familiar with me. Are you my stalker or something?" With Diana being an avid reader, she kept telling Hazel about tropes and stories everytime they met. And Hazel did remember something about the stalker trope.
She glanced at the man warily, ’’Look. I might not look like it but I can fight,’’ she whispered, putting her hands up in a stance as she kept backing away, ’’It will be brutal.’’
’’I am scared,’’ the man nodded.
’’So, you better not try something with me,’’ Hazel took another step back.
